Spring Computer Literacy Classes Conclude May 20th

May 20th, was the twelfth and last day for the computer literacy classes, the next class starts in fall and students interested in  free classes should sign up at the circulation desk of the Waltham Public Library. Students in the class appreciated the hard work and dedication of the volunteers —Saheli board members Deepika Madan and Tanvi Devimane, and teaching assistants Owen and John . Class ended with generous donations to Saheli from the Friends of Waltham Public Library, Inc., and director Kelly Linehan and the students. A gift was also made to Saheli’s domestic violence survivor’s fund in the name of Reeta Goswami Sharma, by her sister, a student in the class.

We seek volunteers for the literacy program in fall. Class is held on Wednesday evenings 6:30 -8:30 pm for 12 weeks, if you can volunteer for three weeks, we need you! Topics include: how to use email and gmail, how to search on the Internet and basic Microsoft Word and Excel. If you can volunteer, please write to info@saheliboston.org. Have a great summer.
